Bato's Spezialitäten Restaurant am Flughafen

Interesting food in a fun location next to airfield of Kiel. The restaurant could do with a tidy up.

Very nice restaurant at the airport!

An absolute dream! Every time! We had the food delivered for the first time today. The food came on time, hot and tasty as always. The food was also delivered very friendly. To our surprise, the meat was just as perfect as in the restaurant! We look forward to the next time!

We were there for the first and last time today. The restaurant was as good as empty for a Sunday lunch, but the service and kitchen staff were completely overwhelmed. Meat was dry and too salty, salad was loveless and tasteless. For dessert it was first told what not there, then mixed ice cream, which had a lot of crystals (all 3 types), so not exactly fresh. Better a little less meat, but reasonably prepared!

The staff couldn't even look me in the face, there wasn't so much going on that couldn't have been taken care of. I'm from the industry myself. The food didn't knock me and my boyfriend off the stool. The ambience is getting on in years and could use a mop. It was not nice. :-(
