Until now I was always with the competition and wanted to have glasses made for me at this Apollo branch because I was no longer so satisfied with my optician. The staff was very nice and gave me very good advice, so that I also tried something completely new on glasses frames. The specialist knowledge and competence of these employees is very high! I just felt in safe hands there. I look forward to the next visit!

We went to the branch yesterday (October 6th, 2020) because my friend wanted to choose new glasses. He tried many frames - including sunglasses frames - to find the right one for himself. One employee on site felt that this was not in order and expressed her displeasure with the upcoming disinfection work. In our opinion, no adequate service and very little appreciation of the customer - especially since nobody can choose glasses without trying them on. Very inappropriate. (Nevertheless, we bought two models, but didn't have them glazed.)

Not the most recommendable Apollo branch in Kiel. I needed PC workstation glasses, but the saleswoman (I did not have the feeling that it was an optician.) Was very fibrous, handed me a pair of test glasses to test and should have their min. Read 10 year old screens. When I mentioned that the picture was out of focus and that this could be due to the old monitors, she completely disregarded it and even got puffy towards me. Last but not least, after she went away from time to time to serve other customers or to discuss breaks, I only found out after the order confirmation after doing my own research at home that there are different type glasses for the work area, which I was not informed about. Had it not been for the frame I wanted there, I would have gone to another optician. It's a shame, but definitely not my branch.

I had been an Apollo customer in another city for many years and therefore also a different branch. I then switched to this branch in Kiel and am more than appalled by the audacity with which I was treated this afternoon (October 20th, 2020). When I walked into the store, an employee was busy in the store and with other customers. Another customer was already waiting. So I got in line and waited 5 minutes for an older couple to join them. When the customers were ready to pay, the employee first talked to the first customer and then to the couple. Both were greeted politely, asked to be patient, and offered a place. I, on the other hand, was spoken to last, even though I was the second customer waiting and just used it. "And what do you want" I was asked. When I explained that I wanted to have new glasses made for me, the saleswoman said to me: "yes come back at 1.30 p.m. or no better at 2 p.m.". I am a grown woman and I expect a certain amount of respect. I may look younger (although I don't understand how you want to know exactly how old I am in view of my mouth and nose protection) but that gives the employee no right not to see me as a valid customer and to disparage me in this way. There are only 2 stars because I have already experienced friendly employees.

I was extremely delighted with the friendly advice. It was utopian on the day and I was nevertheless taken in without any significant waiting time and without the feeling of time pressure from a young lady with dark brown and green washed-out hair. I have never felt so serious and professional advice. Apparently she is an apprentice, but does her job like someone who has had his own shop for 20 years. Respect. 🦄🖤
