I am very disappointed. For some years now, we have been purchasing most of the glasses for our patio roofs from GKT. Most recently we have now received a glass door with stainless steel hinges. Due to the relatively high weight and our demands on our customers, we have ordered high-quality stainless steel fittings from Dorma. The order confirmation also stated that the frame parts were made of galvanized steel. This is also not unusual and we know it from glass door hinges. It only became problematic when our employees wanted to assemble the stainless steel sleeves that are slipped over the frame parts and cover them. There weren't any. When I asked, GKT informed me that I should have ordered this separately for this volume. So we ordered the appropriate parts. During assembly, it turned out that the parts supplied did not fit. When we complained about this, GKT informed us that there were no suitable sleeves for this tape. We could paint the tape. How should I explain this to our customer, to whom we have promised something? The fact that the door leaf delivered also has a small chipping that GKT does not want to take care of fits into the picture. I personally am served! People like to complain about inadequate craftsmanship. What no one sees is how difficult it has become for us to achieve a reasonable result if we are let down by our suppliers when things are supposed to be taken for granted. The effort and the loss of image that we have with such a complaint is considerably greater than the value of this tape.
