If everyone were as courteous and friendly as the employees in our health department, we could all be satisfied. My family would like to take this opportunity to thank them and hope that they all stay healthy.
I should go to the health department today because of a suspected corona case. Only today absolutely nobody answered the phone, which is why I gave up after 5 hours. My family doctor has now ordered a test, and the result is not expected for a week. The bad thing is that I'm a teacher and actually the health department has to be informed. I then just tried my luck at the health department in Goslar, which is theoretically not responsible for me. The employees in Goslar gave me great advice and got in touch with the health department in Hildesheim for me so that I can calmly recover and don't have to call an office afterwards that are obviously overwhelmed.
This can be really great when the cold season starts and we teachers have to get tested on every symptom. It can only be a catastrophe and no wonder that the numbers in Hildesheim in March were so high compared to other cities. After all, the employees don't answer the phone.
On the phone only announcement that all lines are busy, then the call is ended. No wonder that the coronavirus is spreading so quickly, there is zero information and you can not reach anyone ...
During the corona crisis in November, it was almost impossible to contact the office by phone. Called permanently for 2 days and apart from a tape announcement you didn't get much. What do they expect, that I simply go back to work without a sick note / test even though there is a suspicion (without symptoms). Applause to the employees

I've been trying to get someone on the phone for 2 weeks, but nobody answers. My boss has complained several times that I need a health certificate! Impossible like that! 😠🙄
