I've been trying to call there for 4 hours but no one answers the phone!
Very fast and friendly service. After less than 20 minutes I had changed my car and had new license plates.

Although the opening times are quite difficult for people who work full time during the week, my experience on site has been pretty good so far. The waiting time is always relatively short (never longer than 10-15 minutes) and the staff is always relatively friendly.
I have had very good experiences with the Citizens' Bureau so far. No matter what it was about, I never had to wait long and was politely "served".
As a foreigner who I am, I can say that you are not treated like a leper here, but like a normal citizen who you are.
In other citizens' offices, such as Freising, I also had completely different experiences.

Rarely had such bad experiences with an official office, yesterday with original documents to the civil service on the only free afternoon of the week, only to be told that you had no original documents with you. After checking the office, these are of original origin.
If you don't have a regular daily routine, you could get over it, but not everyone can afford it.
