They are super slow!!!
I am a green electricity customer at Stadtwerke Stuttgart. My experience has been excellent, quick provision, immediate and friendly telephone support coupled with a low electricity price. The termination was also done in less than two minutes by phone. The monthly right of termination came in very handy for me. I hope my next electricity provider in the north of Germany is equally great and I will warmly recommend Stadtwerke to all Stuttgarters.
I tried to register with Stella Stuttgart, unfortunately my IBAN is rejected for some unexplainable reason by the customer center. Also alternatives (apart from the credit card) are not to be incorporated. After I was personally in the customer center you wanted to contact me again, which did not happen. I think the idea is very good but there should be a functioning and perfect infrastructure from registration to lending. Acts very unprofessional, a great pity.
In the future, the existing electricity meters will gradually be replaced by a so-called "Smart Meter" in all German households in accordance with the "Digitalisation of the Energy Transition Law". The meter operators (usually the municipal utilities and / or various smart metering companies) do their utmost to implement this as quickly as possible.
The principle of these meter operators is:
DIGITAL FIRST, HEALTH SECOND!
Until now (as of 17.5.19), exactly one "smart meter" has been specifically certified in Germany.
Specifically, this is the following device:

The meter operators then always speak out that they act according to law and also claim, "that the smart meter is certified yet".
But attention:
Even if a smart meter is certified, it inevitably radiates in real time inside and outside the building constantly and uncontrollably and thus harms the health.
That People who have previously taken care that no radiant components such as WLAN, radio, etc. are in the house, are now forced by the meter operator.
Just scary and therefore this Google rating with only one star, since there are no zero stars here, unfortunately!
