On December 8th, 2020, my quarantine was ordered by the health department by telephone. A certificate for my employer is still not available today, January 2nd, 2021. The majority of employers generally require a medical certificate on the third day of absence at the latest. Are you aware that this can mean a termination for the employee?

2 weeks after the quarantine order by the health department, there was still no letter for the employer. That's a bad joke. As if it wasn't difficult enough to keep a job in times of the shutdown crisis and the resulting collapse in sales for companies ..... impossible.

I am aware that the situation is difficult, but telephone circuits with ext. Employees without any concept, arbitrary information to those affected do not make things any easier. There is no one on the phone, no matter where, who can give you clear information. Sad!

Unfortunately we experienced “Murphy's Law” here ... the Corona test result took about 4 days. We received false information about which laboratory is evaluating the samples. We were told to have a regional central laboratory from RLP in Landau, but our samples went to Synlab in Trier. When asked, we did not receive a QR code for tracking. The transport of our samples from Paulinstrasse (health department) to Synlab (Feldstrasse) took almost 30 hours alone. And we have sent three different written quarantine orders by registered mail or in person through the public order office and additionally received four oral quarantine orders for a contact person. The Corona Positive in our family received his first and only quarantine order on the 10th and thus the last day of his quarantine. On vacation after the end of the quarantine, the volunteer fire brigade called us on behalf of the health department, who was not informed that the quarantine had already ended and thought we were at home. With all due understanding for the current situation, there is still room for improvement in this way of working!
