I think it's a shame that AOK employees are becoming more and more unfriendly. Of course there are not all of them, but there are some. I had to do with the AOK a lot lately, be it by phone or on site and I am really disappointed! There were times when it was really different! Pity! Maybe I'll switch!

I have had pain in my right shoulder for 8 weeks. My surgeon then made 2 MRI referrals for me. The health insurance company only allows one MRI per quarter. I said that I was in pain and that I had to go there. Then I was told to take the second appointment next year. Or I have to pay for it myself. So now I have to wait half a year for an examination. The employee on the phone was very rude and annoyed.

Unfortunately, during the time of a serious illness, I had to have a lot of discussions about medically necessary care expenses, as well as the necessary objections, lists of providers and so much more with the AOK, but this branch is by far the WORST thing that can happen to you if one is seriously ill. When I received a message about the termination of ALL services via the mailbox (this call actually came from an incompetent employee from BS - what's going on in one please?), I just wanted to get more information and had to drag myself into this branch. This was obviously no longer possible on a Friday afternoon. The chairs were already in the way and an incredibly unfriendly tone struck me before I could get to the real point. Feeling hundreds of repetitions of the one sentence: "I can't and I don't want to make a statement about this." Instead of looking at the file and my documents and looking for a solution in a very difficult situation, I could only go furious. HOW PLEASE, YOU CAN BE SO INHUMAN!? !! The situation was so obvious that I still cannot understand it. The HUMAN who is already in an emergency situation is not noticed here at all. NO PIECE is about HELP or RELIEF. It is simply about numbers and profits. In addition, applications for important patient transports are not forwarded correctly or disappear entirely, or there is only a swift reaction to friendly inquiries, which is actually already out of the question anyway. However, it is simply unsustainable that even though you are already out of strength and should really regenerate, you still have to take care of their work and you are put through by some employee to the next ignorant. In the end, you end up trying to get through to the job in question for days (!) And then scan all the documents yourself and send them directly to us. I think that has a method. Only those who can still muster the energy and persevere may receive the important and medically necessary help that is due to them. But if you can no longer take care of it, you don't cost any money. Simply not recommended. If only I had never changed health insurance. AOK - NEVER AGAIN!

Very friendly courteous staff who are very well advised and knowledgeable whether on the phone or on site I was always helped quickly. Just great ! Keep it up !
