If you have been the holder of the HVB Mastercard Gold for some time, you should check the insurance conditions / service description on which the card is based. Because, according to ERGO Reiseversicherung, HVB incorrectly printed the rules on deductibles around 10 years ago. According to ERGO, the affected customers were informed by HVB. The Hypo Vereinsbank in Munich is still not in a position to comment on the accusation of incorrect conditions. At least in the insurance conditions as of January 1, 2010, it concerns area VIII. Travel cancellation costs (Part A) § 5 Paragraph 3 the deductible. This was increased from 20% of the reimbursable damage, but at least € 25 per person to € 100 per person.
