I was a customer of Volksbank Freiburg for a total of 11 years. In 2018, shortly before my first permanent position after graduation, I received the information that too little turnover was flowing into the account and that I should therefore pay account fees from now on. Extremely disappointed, I contacted the Volksbank by email and asked whether this had anything to do with customer orientation. What followed was a message on my answering machine: A lady had read an obviously mandatory standard message and littered my mailbox with it. Apart from that, I very rarely used customer service over the phone or on site in Freiburg branches and was continuously disappointed. Processes were not carried out correctly several times and the colleagues were not particularly friendly either. Now that I've heard another story from a family member, I would like to file a complaint against the customer advisor. Unfortunately, I was not given permission to share this story here, but I think it will become clear what I think of the Volksbank. 0 out of 5 stars for me.
