Individual silicone heel wedges sell for over € 35 if you don't have a prescription. If the doctor writes down "2 pairs on both sides", i.e. 4 pieces, you will not be able to handle it. You should have the prescription written down in a single wedge, otherwise the health insurance will not reimburse you for it. The heel wedges are available from other medical supply stores from 6 € as a medical product! So for a product with a retail value of € 6 I should:
Make an appointment with the doctor.
Go to the doctor.
Have the recipe rewritten.
Drive back.
Back to the medical supply store.
Get a heel wedge.
Go home again.
You'd think Schaub thinks you'd get the heel wedge for fun.
Hey, Schaub, little tip: You could have customers who are unable to walk, so they don't like to walk.
Furthermore:
People are gossiping about using the more expensive Schaub variant and not the health insurance model for customized insoles. Even here you have to pay an additional 10 €.
The expensive model is CNC-milled (~ 39 € additional payment). What kind of a quality argument is that? CNC milling makes sense in series production to save price for mass products, not for customized products.
I don't want an apology or anything like that as a comment on this review. Please change the price and you're done.
The bike fitting with video analysis was carried out very professionally, with a clear structure and detailed documentation of the results. Highly Recommended!
