I can only strongly advise against this branch. After almost two decades at Volksbank, I am happy to quit. As a customer of Rheinische Strasse, I had nothing to complain about. The branch manager was always top-notch on a personal level. At Vinckeplatz you don't even get a call back. Not even when complained to the main office. E.g. because one does not agree with the small amount payments TAN-free - where amounts of up to 30 euros can be made by SEPA transfer without entering a TAN. Or if you are stuck in the mountains in the USA because the credit card is billed 6 days later than every year. The processing company is to blame. But the fact that this is a subsidiary is not mentioned. You don't want to know anything about damage. You could have sent a written application to increase the credit line. It's rather difficult from the Rocky Mountains. That is exactly why I was there personally before the month-long trip to secure the support of my advisor. Written termination will also only be accepted after 6 weeks. The personal clarification of the authorized representatives on site is of no use either. After six weeks, the termination will be accepted without any further justification and you will receive a remuneration statement. Thanks to the old branch manager on Rheinische Strasse, Volksbank was always a partner for me. And the overpriced account management models, not to mention the credit conditions, are then gladly accepted. The branch on Vinckeplatz is unfortunately completely inconsiderate. The customer doesn't count here. Then I can also go to a direct bank. At least it only costs a fraction.
