SIMON BOLIVAR Park

Farming center about 10 miles south of Machala, Ecuador. Santa Rosa that is the site for a large new airport to serve the southern part of Ecuador. This airport is operational offering flights to mayor cities in Ecuador like Guayaquil, Quito, Cuenca, and in the near future Peru and USA.

The mayor's efforts to keep the city beautiful can be seen in every block and park. The market, schools, public offices remain active and orderly, however disorder, garbage, informal sales, insecurity and homeless migrants are causes that deteriorate La Benemérita. On each occasion that represents a celebration, be it for its foundation, national holidays, Christmas and the end of the year, commercial establishments and informal sales take to the sidewalks and entire streets to sell their products. This causes chaotic pedestrian and vehicular traffic, increases filth and crime. A mixed project of a fairground with public and private investment should be promoted for this type of occasion and keep the city orderly and clean. Campaigns from the school should make the population aware of taking care of their city and collaborate in initiatives to control stray animals, exterminate pests and clean the marble in the hypercenter Finally, insecurity is on the increase and crime can be seen day and night. From people demanding money to cell phone thieves to robbers of restaurants and shops. Surveillance is scant and is rarely encountered by security and traffic police. Santa Rosa is a city of mine workers, banana shrimp and cocoa farmers. It deserves to be better and require its inhabitants to collaborate to remain La Benemérita. Happy 2020 dear city !!!
