Santa Lucia Cloud Forest Ecolodge - Reserve Santa Lucia

The most beautiful place on earth I have ever visited. The nature is incredible with all his wildlife, amazing views, the birds, waterfalls, flowers,... The lodge is also very comfortable and there is always a lot to do. The people that are working there do always there utmost to let you feel at home and give you an amazing stay. The food of Fredy is already just a reason to go an visit Santa Lucia. I stayed there for three months and these are my three most beautiful months! Even during this three months, I was able to see every day something new. I would highly recommend this wonderful place with wonderful nature and people. It feels like you live in another world up there.

Absolutely beautiful lodge and wonderful people! I have the best 10 days of my life here and would highly recommend it to anyone who is able to go. The walk up is roughly 2 hours and is challenging but it is well worth it!

Beautiful spot on top of a mountain in the middle of the rain forest! Great host, delicious food, awesome environment. Be prepared for rain and hiking around a high altitude in muddy boots. Facilities are well built and dry but be prepared for limited or no power. Evenings in our private cabin listening to the rain and frogs by candle light with a glass of wine were magical. Bring wine :-)

An amazing experience. A beautiful hilltop location with great facilities (although very little electricity which is great, but good to plan for). The staff & guides are top notch, and do a fantastic job. Our guide Edison was very informative & great fun as he led us about the reserve. The reserve itself is a marvellous place full of birds, animals & plants. The cloud part of the cloud forest also leads to some beauty when the fog rolls in (removing the view of the hills, but adding a unique quiet & misty environment). Highly recommended for nature lovers who enjoy a good hike & plant/animal/bird watch.
