A small, but nice park with adequate free parking. There's lot of great equipment for the kids and you're right across the street from the river. One thing I really liked is that there are lots of trash bins (no, what I really like is the result). They are rare to non- existent in most parks-- in this case, no trash or broken glass!

Really nice area in Cuenca, a $2 cab ride away from the historic district. It's quite and clean. Nearby there's also Parque Linea, a strip of green that runs along Rio Yanunvay. It's great for kids, dogs, walking, and running.
