Do not use Rentalcars, much easier to rent straight from the rental car companies. If you have any issues with the vehicle or booking from any company (Hetz, Dollar, etc), Rentalcars won't help you and won't take any responsability (and they'll keep your money).
Blimey, it seems this company is getting a very bad press. Lots of 1 stars.I use the app regularly and have never had a problem, on the contrary they've always been reliable, quick and easy to contact by phone if needed. I would advise people to use reputable car leasing companies, at Barcelona Sants these would be SIXT and ENTERPRISE. I wouldn't touch the others although that's not to say they're all completely bad. Anyway there is a phone number for Rentalcars and I've phoned them in the past - they were brilliant and responded to my problems straight away. I would phone them. The person accesses your account and you can discuss everything with them. And also read the terms and conditions. Sometimes it's better to book directly with the company, sometimes through the app you get a better deal for miles per day or cancellation it all depends. It's useful to compare prices before booking at any rate.
