Centauro Rent a Car Valencia AVE Joaquín Sorolla

I have been renting cars from this office for a while and it is always a great experience. The staff are always super friendly, on time, and efficient. I wouldn't use any other car hire company now :)

Picking up the car: Friendly staff and quick process (although I was the only customer at the time). However, two of my names and my driving license number were incorrect on the contract so if you have third party car hire insurance, make sure you check your contract before signing because it will be invalid. Returning the car: Also quick even though there was only one member of staff and the customer who arrived after me had to wait (they couldn't drop off the key and leave). I returned the car without additional damage and with the same level of fuel that was in it when I picked up the car. No mention was made of any charges when I dropped off the car (in fact the only word uttered by the employee was 'OK'). Later, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that I had been charged €6 for something. Finding a way to get into contact with Centauro other than by phone is not easy. €6 is not much money but I will not go back because if they are going to charge me something they should inform me when I drop off the car, and provide me with paperwork saying why I have been charged. UPDATE: For some reason (unexplained), €6 was blocked on my card when I returned the car. After contacting Centaura, and about a week later, it was unblocked. It took Centauro about two weeks to reply to me by which time the money had been unblocked. No idea if the unblocking was as a result of me contacting them or not. It just doesn't make sense that the money was blocked, with no reason given, when returning the car and it having been checked.

Everything went great. We had no waiting time when getting the car, the employee was very friendly and did not try to push any additional insurance. Dropping off the car was very easy and the deposit was transferred back right on the spot. Very good value for money.

Nice people, good cars with diesel and very nice prices

We took the SMART package and everything went smooth from the start to finish. No hidden fees, no deposit, full insurance and the deposit for the gas(53 EUR) was refunded right away and deposited in my account two days after. The reviews are true, this is truly amazing service. Thank you.
