Very friendly staff and fast service. The car they gave me was basically brand new (mileage 3000 km) and yet their prices were a lot lower than others. If i ever go back to Girona (and I hope I will), then i'll definetely use their services again.

The worst customer service! I went to pick up a car, had both my husbands and my passports, our licenses and my credit card and a photo of my husbands credit card but they would not honor an existing reservation even though it had multiple drivers listed as I did not have my husband's credit card. Told me there were no other options other than to have my husband come from the city, a half hour away with our 1 and 3 year old but in the meantime, expedia had cancelled our reservation after telling us it was not able to be cancelled and then Budget said that because the system said it was cancelled there were no options.... so our family of 4 was left carless, standing in the budget office having having had a reservation... they were not able to actually deliver any sort of customer service, were rude and confrontational as well and absolutely no solutions were offered at all. They seemed to love the locals though. Never again, please do not use them!

Don't bring back your car outside the opening hours! BUDGET claimed that one of the nomerous scratches was caused by me - despite that was not true. First I should pay more than 200€ for the repair. After I asked for a proof I just had to pay 150€. Very dubious! Communication very hard! Better rent a car at one of the companies whose offices are opened when you bring back the car. Here you get a confirmation that the car was not damaged and they do not blame you afterwards.

I have been travelling in and out of Girona airport for 13 years and have hired cars with lots of companies - SolMar, Goldcar, Europecar etc - and on one previous occasion with Budget and thought they had been ok. This trip I decided to use Budget again - good decision. Nice car and clean. Checkout and checkin was simplicity itself. Many other companies - because I decline their full insurance - have a time consuming process inspecting the car for damage before and after.. Budget have the process but execute it quickly. The staff I met were friendly and efficient . The deal was just what I wanted -Full/Full - with no surcharge Well done - " I'll be back"
