If you have any problem, they won't pick up the phone, and to call the the main office in Barcelona not an option as they are useless . New level of horrible Customer service trying to reach them over 3 hours

Avis were brilliant, I would definitely go with them again! Staff were really helpful, car rental and insurance was a good price - no hidden costs unlike Goldcar!! What ever you do not go with "Goldcar" they are a scammer!!

I have rented a car and forgot (on 28.05) my mobile telephone in it.I have a trace online option,so,I could 'see' how my telephone travelled from the agencia to an address in Girona,where are ONLY flats.I have several times called for it,nobody picked up.I have asked the lady on the emergency number (destined for accidents) to write an email to the agencia and explain them that i can 'see' my mobile,but nobody ever responded.Not nice.

We were served by Carmen and she couldn't be more helpful and friendly. No large deposit blocking my credit card (just €50 for fuel in case of an empty return), no hard selling of extras, but instead a free upgrade to a brand-new SUV (12km on clock). She also offered us a drink and gave us some useful info. On return of the car we were running late to catch our flight, but the gentleman who handled the return kindly dropped us off at departures and he wouldn't take the tip I offered. 5 star service!
