A total racket. A car advertised at 10 euros a day ends up being 70 euros a day with insurance and airport fees and who knows what else they tack on. I was charged 30 euros just to have gasoline in the car, and I had to fill it up before returning it. (They call it full flex -- It's a full rip-off.) Also, it takes at least half and hour to pick up the car. Go elsewhere.

Horrible experience, they didn't accept my card because it has my initials then my surname (as any card in UK). They argued it could be a card from some relative of mine and it must show my name written on it. Crazy....

DO NOT BOOK WITH GOLDCAR EVER! The worst counter service and the worst customer service in the world! They trick you to get new bookings at the counter and charge you for both bookings! Be careful! Specially with a woman call Lizbeth!

I would not rent with them again. I rented from this company a couple times before. Last time I had a reservation with DoYouSpain. On check-in the employee told me that I was lucky they had a promotion and I could get a car upgrade with free fuel for only 100 euros more. I refused the upgrade and requested to maintain my original booking. Next he told me that he could not give me the car I booked because my name was abbreviated in the credit card, and the name should mach exactly what is in the passport. But he could do me a "favor" and give me the car if I buy the full insurance from him and full tank of fuel. I argued that I've rented from them before using the same card, but he wouldn't accept it. When I asked to talk to his supervisor, he told me "Hi I'm the supervisor, you can talk". I asked his name, so I could write a email to Goldcar, but he refused to give me. I canceled my reservation, luckily I had selected an option with refund. I wrote a email to Goldcar but never got any reply.
