The worst experience I have had in picking up a car from Avis which is a surprise. T2 OFFICE WAS CLOSED SO WE HAD TO TAKE ALL OUR LUGGAGE WITHOUT A TROLLEY TO T1. We were almost robbed at the Avis carpark and were told by the receptionist that this was not the first time its happened and that they cannot provide security as it is the airports responsibility. Shame on you Avis for putting my wife and i in harms way when picking up a car at your carpark. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIEVES OPERATIING AT AVIS CARPARK PEOPLE.

They charged me over 2000 euro for 3 days rental which was already paid. I will enter this case to police.

No focus on the customer at all! Booked a car for three days and arrived at the rental counter on Monday night 13 January at 19h40, got my keys at 20h19. So it took 39 minutes because there are 6 counters with only 2 agents, the agent tried to sell me an upgrade 3 times, when that didn't work he tried to sell me 3 different levels of additional insurance, which I refused. On Thursday 16th at 08h30 the car wouldn't start, it took 51 minutes for a technician to arrive and a further 20 minutes to diagnose an electrical fault, at which point I was informed that Avis would only pay for one taxi trip, and I would need at least three to complete my business trip. After another 43 minutes I eventually received a replacement car, a significant downgrade from the one I originally booked. I have already informed my company to not use this rental company for my future trips.

Despite many negative comments, my experience was good. Now their office is located at parking area and staff were friendly and professional. I got the car within 5 minutes and not an issue when to return. They have certainly improved and confident to use them again. Many thanks Avis.
