I have a very difficult experience that left me speechless. I tell you: I booked in France and I had a reservation confirmation in which the "suppression de franchise" was specified as a promotion. Once at the agency, the man, very polite and helpful, tells me that my reservation contract does not count despite having paid when I made it. So I find myself with an unforeseen expense of 200.00 euros. I could have refused but I would have a franchise of 1,400 euros in case of problem. For me it is abuse and deception. Great car but with a bitter taste.

I rented the car online so they should have had it ready, but when I got it I had an empty tank so I had to wait for them to fill it out. The car had been cleaned but not thoroughly and it smelled like tobacco. I hired an extension of the compulsory insurance and they told me the price without VAT, so when the charge was made, the amount was higher than expected. It had to be me, in spite of leaving a note in the mail box, the one that called to worry about knowing if they had located the car since when returning it there was no place to park it in the street of the office and I did it in an adjacent street . They have not sent me the invoice yet.
