Attention - scammers
I booked an Opel Corsa with SunnyCars via my travel agency in Germany (Dollar Thrifty - the same counter as Hertz at the Airport Bilbao) and paid in advance by direct debit. On site, the lady then offered me an upgrade (19Euro) to a Mini Cooper, which I gratefully accepted. Then I was told to sign the takeover. When returning it was then it was all ok and I would be deducted the difference for the upgrade plus a driver's insurance which I did not want but apparently signed with the takeover confirmation. Worse than that, I was booked by SunnyCars the Opel Corsa for 66Euro and Hertz again 119, -Euro for the Mini by credit card in the aftermath. When asked what this should, one meant at SunnyCars only that Hertz and SunnyCars could not look at the bookings with each other and I would have had a good "German" bad luck. As a reminder, the lady at the counter for Hertz and for SunnyCars = the same person and it was called Upgrade - do not pay 2 cars for 1 day and drive 1! Thus, the one day rental car comes to 185, -Euro - for me, just cheating!
Nothing recommended. The charges are without VAT, if you do not fill the deposit upon delivery, the part not consumed is not returned. In the end, you pay much more than expected if you don't keep an eye out. Personally I will not repeat or crazy.
