Benirrama a town on a hill, is the first village in the valley coming by way or Pego by the CV 700. Benialí is the second town where is the town hall of the region of the beautiful east valley and its elongated mountains, which separate the Valley from the Gallinera de la Vall d'Ebo, the Vall de Alcalá on the one hand and the Llacuna, Villalonga on the other, both have access by the mountain for car is not highly recommended as it is complicated I have climbed both the Alcalá valley and the Llacuna from Benirrama. And under the Sierra de la Safor to Benissili. The Gallinera Valley is the valley of the eight villages. Benisiva is the neighbor of Benitaia separated by a km. It is a beautiful like all quiet village of the Gallinera Valley.

The truth is that the mountain of Alicante after the last rains is spectacular and its villages have a special charm. However last Sunday I experienced something that in my more than 40 years traveling had never happened to me ... the route of the 8 villages we ended up in Benirrama where we arrived tired, hot and thirsty after walking for so many kilometers ... and so much in a bar like in the other one of the town they denied us the attention, perhaps they had a reason of weight but in one of them they literally told us that they did not take care of strangers. I will not comment on the particular pages of these bars because I saw that they care little, but the city council that promotes this route should be informed, that in our case the guide said he will not take another trip there and if hundreds of people start talking badly and tourism in the area declines, that small and isolated villages will live? The father of my daughter is from Alcoy, her godfather from Benilloba and we have family in Cuatretondota, strangers? That strange behavior has hurt me.
