Very disappointed they forced me to buy a full tank, as someone filled the tank by "mistake". Had to pay 75 euro for that. Tiny Yaris and a full tank for 75 euro. Been a customer for over 5 years, why to scam your loyal customer like that. This is very low and I know many bad reputation car rental companies use that kind of way to squeeze more money out from tourists. Very unprofessional customer support, basically take it or leave it.

We use this rental company every year when we travel to Spain. The guys that work here are really friendly, easy to communicate with, and offer a brilliant service. This year we took our 6 month baby and they were able to provide us with a baby seat. My husband was reversed into at the airport and they were extremely easy to deal with and did not take any money from us despite damage to the car as they recognized the collision was not our fault. You never wait more than 5 minutes for the shuttle bus to take you from the airport 5 minutes away to the office where the cars are. Would highly recommend this company.

SCAMMED WHEN TRANSACTING WITH OPENCAR ON A SIMPLE CAR HIRE FOR 5 DAY'S. Paid in advance before travelling and got notification to say payment was received, then received a call directly from Open Car to say their system was hacked but car would be available. Was picked up by open car and brought to their office. Went through all of the hire details and then asked to pay the full amount again. Otherwise i would not be able to take the car. Very unprofessional approach and leaves you thinking who was scamming who. Would never use again and would advise everyone to be careful about their service. In response to your reply: I must say your company has a very interesting way of dealing with customer complaints, you have all my contact details and could have contacted me directly to resolve this but prefer to make this look like I am at fault and a tech fool. So let's go with the facts. 1. I contacted your opencar representative via the contact number on your official website and agreed the price for the car rental. 2. Your opencar representative asked me to forward my name and flight details to your company email address as your system was down. Which I did as instructed. 3. I get a reply email from your company email address asking for payment to be made to a bank account. The email was signed off by your same company representative that I physically spoke to. I paid as instructed. 4. I then received confirmation of payment directly from the same email address and opencar representative. 5. I receive a phone call from your opencar representative to state that your system has been hacked. I tell your opencar representative that I have already paid as instructed. Your representative asks me to forward proof of payment. I do as requested. 6. Your representative confirms by phone before I travel that car will be available based on evidence of payment which had been supplied. 7. I am picked up by your courier at the airport and arrive at your office which is off the airport grounds and you ask me to pay again. 8. We argue for nearly 2 hours and I finally give up and pay the same amount again. I have no idea which countries opencar operate in and therefore if I get an email from your company requesting payment and I am speaking directly with your employee then I have to believe I am dealing with your company. If indeed your system / email has been hacked by an external source then can you advise if your company is in compliance with EU GDPR and that any personal data that I have supplied has been protected from further use. Baded on the fact that you seem to be more desperate for the money than I am, then can I suggest that you keep it and spend it on some additional system software to beef up your own internal security systems or you could certainly spent it on some training courses on how to deal with customers complaints. If your company was indeed customer focused then you would never never asked me to take the hit for your failings and pay again. Perhaps it would have been better for everyone if you had of stepped up to your commitments and protected your customer instead of your own greed.
