LBS Hotel

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is really great. But the rooms lack warm water (as the heater often doesn't work). There is no elevator. The kitchen of the restaurant in 1st floor is very slow (waited one hour for a salad). breakfast lasts far too long as they make everything fresh - which might be a good thing but doesn't work out quite well.

I can't compare the LBS with many other Hotels in Ethiopia but we checked the rooms in the Shebel Hotel as well and in comparison the LBS is nicer. Don't expect clean duvets - be happy the blankets are clean. The water during shower is hot with low pressure (4th floor). Wify is working but upload of pictures to WhatsApp or email are very limited. The meals in the restaurant are tasty. Breakfast ist good with a lot of choices. Due to the two bars in the neighborhood, loud local music will accompany you through the whole night - wear ear seals. You'll survive and enjoy the good breakfast every morning.

It is the best international hotel

A western surprise No water, not light always (not so strange in the country). Everything is right down. Breakfast justet everything: neither variety nor quality. And slow service, of patience. I could not recommend it. Sorry.
