Atse Kaleb Hotel

Based on a one night stay in Nov 2019, the property is clean and mostly quiet with an attractive inner courtyard where you can dine on a choice of both Western (including pizza) and Ethiopian dishes. The decrease to 2 stars is because the room I was given had no running water for the shower. I was given a discounted price of 350ETB (regular 400ETB), but this didn't offset the lack of shower for me. For any traveler choosing to stay here, be advised to test the shower upon arrival.

The place has a a nice garden. We ordered a pizza and it was good. Concerning the hotel, it was cheap : We booked 2 rooms which were dirty. The toilets and showers are commun, they were very dirty with a strong smell + cold water ...

What a view and best place to spend your time, not pricey!!!

Prepare to take a torch with you because it soest have a back up generator and there are regular power cuts in aksum. The restaurant is quite good for European dishes.
