Camping Parc Sainte-Marie

We unexpectedly stayed at this campsite for a week after our car had broken down on the nearby motorway while we waited for the repairs. The staff were helpful, friendly and understanding of our situation, and the campsite was peaceful and the grounds well maintained. The nearby viaduct is worth a visit, as is a cycle/walk along the Champagne-Bourgogne canal path. There are views across the countryside from the old town, and a variety of shops in the new town area.

Pleasant staff. Clean showers and toilets.but expensive compared to the rest of the country. And NOTHING here. Too far to walk to a bar had to drive. €15 for a tent and two people. Nothing on site. Nothing! I paid €17 in Verdun, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, bread delivery, shop... You're prices should be halved.

Nice campsite with old trees and pleasant stuff. But the 50+ years old sanitary house with mainly stand up toilets and just two "single-temperature showers" per gender are not very comfortable. You can walk to the old town where you can find very few restantants and shops where mainly closed in August. Still it's ok for a single night.

Great people who are helpful and reasonably priced

Drove by with my bicycle spontaneously, signed up and had a place with electricity in 5 minutes for only 13 €. Shower and WC included. Quite place, at the borders of beautiful city Chaumont.
