Camping de Besançon

Great little campsite. Pitches are spread out and not too cramped. Very decent toilet and shower block. Would stay at again

Finding the camp site is really easy and the whole staff is very friendly. You get a plan of the campsite and detailed descriptions about the local supermarkets and all the other stuff you need. Plus, you can buy nice postcards and eventually even have the chance on a nice chat with the reception lady. When I visited in June 2018, the summer was so dry that there was hardly any grass left but I'm sure that it's different if there is enough rain. The atmosphere is nice and you even have seating possibilities.

LE: I didn’t request any money reimbursement, but I still keep my opinion that the site’s online booking system is extremely confusing and misleading!!!! From the reservation feedback it doesn’t seem to be a double size caravan parking and it doesn’t say the price is higher than the downpayment of 19 €!!!! (check photo) I didn’t even get to arrive for my one night at the place due to traffic, however I ‘ve booked previously what I consider to be a pitch for a tent and 2 adults and it turned out to be just the advance of 20 Euros out of the total of at least 51 Euros. Been to several places already on my way and sincerely for that price I have no idea what the offer is. Lost the down payment, went to another camping site and was still cheaper :(

Good campsite for the price we paid, we had a tent and where there for a couple of days. There are some playthings for children and plenty of space. I asked for a spot far from the road which we got. The bathrooms where pretty clean and ok, but I never go camping so can't compare much.

Seems nice and open... I only stayed one night here. Sites are like any other campsite. I feel its good value for what it is. I would come back here again for a one night stop..
