Aloha Camping Club

Disappointing. Steep incline and decline entry road, pot holed gravel for last 50m. Site had the feel of being unloved. Mistakenly 'quiet' and 'tranquil' or natural reviews mask what is ultimately a substandard site for the money you pay. Better can be found elsewhere. Good access to the Pirinexus cycleway down the hill. No shop on site. Sloping pitches. Camping pitches are gravel patches. Poor play area. Single trampoline which was 'shut' due to too much usage and a loose spring. Not fixed 4 days later. Would not return to this campsite. Booked a 5 person van with bedding provided for only 4. Upon requesting 5th pillow and bedding owner came to van to inspect that we were telling the truth. Provided later. Strange tannoy announcements to broadcast events occurring... Very 1960 holiday camp. Events are better communicated face to face. Made it feel like a call for a reaping.

All in all a nice camping. Too bad the sanitary was in need of maintenance; a lot of leaking pipes, doors missing, hinges missing. Main reason for a low review score are the 7 toilets, of which 5 are the french standing toilets.

Great site friendly quiet

Very good stay with a group of 8 friends ranging from 21 to 23 years old, picnics on the beach, barbecue at the edge of a river away from any prying eyes, stroll in the town of Collioure, activities with Thierry responsible for the camping (electric mountain bike ride, moonlight walk in the Catalan reliefs) you will be pleasantly surprised by the entertainment offered by the amiable Charlene who will entertain your evenings with karaoke, blind tests, and even singing with her versatile music group. As for the organization of meals, nothing could be easier, breakfast to order at the reception at unbeatable prices, burger entertainment, rotisserie, and even real Breton pancakes that will disorient you on the spot. I recommend the experience at the Aloha camping club.

We spent a week's vacation with friends at the Aloha campsite, we had a great stay! A very warm welcome accompanied by a welcome drink which was welcome after our few hours on the road. We were very well installed in a well-equipped and rather spacious mobile home. In terms of activity, we were not bored! The campsite offers a plethora of activities and entertainment for children and adults alike. For our part, we did: electric mountain bike, night walk, hikes, canyoning, stroll near the river etc .... The (evening) entertainment is varied, dynamic and appealing to everyone. A warm family campsite, I recommend!
