Post Office

I was there to return a package for Orange. I don't speak French and was wondering how to deposit the package. I was looking for a big deposit box like in the US Post office but it is not available here. I used my Google translate app to ask a staff there and it was pretty easy and convenient. With a scan and she said Ok. It is better experience than I expected

I went to post a package and I was very pleasantly surprised by the follow-up and the kindness of the gentleman who accompanied me throughout the process. It's very rare to see this kind of super pleasant staff, unheard of in a post! I expected a favorable opinion, but you know the post office subcontracts the mail where the subcontractor sometimes also subcontracts on his side ... And that does not date from yesterday, the post in question is not there for nothing unfortunately.

Today 12/11/2020 I am posting a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. We are made to wait in the queue outside when there is no one at one of the two terminals (when both are walking it is rare). I go home anyway and buy my stamp. The person who must take care of sticking the sticker on the front of the envelope (A4 gusseted envelope containing 98 payslips) and the slip on the back begins to detach the sticky part and ... stops on the field to take care of someone else! He passes my sticky slip to another one who starts sticking the sticker any way you want on the front, then turns the envelope over and ..... sticks the slip so badly that a sticky part sticks out of the envelope! !! an envelope that is 36 cm by 28 cm! And I almost got kicked out when I suggested that it would block the correct mailing because the sticky part could stick another envelope in a bunch of envelopes! No excuse, nothing. This shows an almost displayed contempt of customers.

Please ring the intercom! Once again we are present and only a notice is filed, forcing us to go to the post office. This is part of the service !!

Pleasantly surprised for a post office. Well run in this covid time, attentive, polite and helpful staff. We would like to see the same attitudes in all post offices!
