Camping Huttopia Wattwiller

Camping is within a beautiful surrounding and includes lots of trees. Also clean and modern sanitary, and everything was very clean. However totally unsuited for tents. Since we travel on bicycles we only have tents and mattresses. However all places are made of rocks. We did not saw any campsites made of grass at all. Since we only have thin mattresses that was a thought night. Personally I think it was more fair if they warned about this at forehand on the website and at the reception. Furthermore the camping is on a hill so be aware of a thought climb (>10%, bad road) if you need to go to the only playground on the camping or the reception. Price for a tent is a bit high given the worse circumstances, prices of the shop really too high. Staff friendly and speaks different languages, however not known with tents since they did not seem to understand that a campsite made from rocks is not suitable for (small) tents.

Very green campsite. We rented a cabin (type evasion). The cabin was well kept and clean on arrival. Perhaps a bit cramped for a family of four, but if you like each other enough it's fine for a week :) facilities in the cabin were excellent, a fully equipped kitchen and small bathroom with a very comfort shower. Showering together with two kids at the same time was no problem. Swimming pool was also clean and we were almost always able to grab one or two deck chairs and a parasol. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the pizzas were very nice, although they were closer to flammkuchen to than to Italian pizzas. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a bread service for breakfast, very convenient but the baguettes and croissants weren't as good as I have come to expect in France. Overall I would definitely recommend this campsite.

Campsite on the slope of a hill in the middle of a forest. Most of the cabines are located amongst the trees giving shadow on hot days. Outside swimming pool is quite large. Had a great vacation and keep going back to Huttopia!

Beautiful camping the mobile homes are awesome, luxurious and comfortable. Because it a terras camping you always have a nice view. Environment is just stunning. Not a five star because the swimming pool is not that big or entertaining and the service for bread is not great. It is ok but you can hit a long queue and I found the bread not that nice.

The campsite is busy, cramped and not car-free despite what is promoted. Having said that, the location is good for the Alsace, the people friendly and the pool is great,.
