Camping La Grenouillière

Very busy, few camping emplacements, more static caravans and no water apparently near the camping pitches

This site was a poor choice for us. We went with a motorhome. The pitches were on the small side, the showers only worked if you held them on with one hand while trying to wash with the other, and the place wasn't particularly clean. Unfortunately, I had a bike accident whilst here and had a short stay in hospital which meant we were here for three nights instead of one. There was no help or sympathy from the management about this. My husband ordered a pizza and beer in the 'restaurant' at 8.15 one evening and got his meal at 9.45! He doesn't speak French and no restaurant staff spoke English, so he couldn't get them to take any notice of him. No compensation offered when settling up. In addition, there was an excitable DJ and loud music playing till 11 one night and 11.30 the next. Would recommend you try any other campsite in the area.

Very good facilities but poorly managed site. Sanitation block had dangerous slippery and dirty floors with infrequent hot water and lingering sewage smell. Emplacements were good separated by hedges.

Very clean and comfortable mobile home with trees and games everywhere the pool area is just at the top with slides for all ages everyone is happy😄😃😁
