There is also their online visa sales site, which is very practical, especially if you don't want to travel: you register, fill out, pay, send the necessary documents and wait for the visa. . I am very satisfied.

Having to make my visa urgently and paying the sum of 250 € for a receipt of the visa on May 17th, the latter only arrived on the 19th. I was to be warned of his arrival what was not done (having 3 return trips in a week from Grenoble). In addition, it is mentioned on the site that it is not necessary to make an appointment, while once there you are told that it is mandatory to make an appointment. The reception is not really nice, even rather cold. I do not recommend this consulate.

I give a notice long after my visa has been made but better late than never! I found the staff attentive and responsive and then very friendly too! My visa was granted in time, no complaints! :) The consul is also very human and do not take anyone high it's nice!

Beware scam! If you think you will fall into the consulate and pay € 35 for your visa, which is the price, you are far from it ... This goes through the VHS center + 26 €, as in Paris, Strasbourg and Marseille. Good again. The subtlety is that in fact in Lyon, you are on the premises of the Honorary Consulate of Russia but it hosts a third body which takes exorbitant additional costs: 55 € So you get by for more than 115 € per visa, and that with the file already complete by you beforehand and> 3 weeks of waiting. I do not recommend even if the welcome is pleasant and charming.
