Post Office

Open 24x7 (imagine). It's an impressive building (currently largest mail distribution center in France) and located about 4 blocks from the rue Rivolli on rue du Louvre. First class postage to the States will run you about 1 Euro. Easy to use self serve machines make it easy. Very friendly and attentive staff.

The staff are rude and unprofessional, which is very damaging for a bank. Pay attention to the respect of banking secrecy especially by the lady wearing glasses who reveals information aloud in front of everyone. I think it should be dismantled and hired people who want to work. I changed banks in part because of unacceptable repetitive behavior.

I have nothing to say about this post since I never had to go. On the other hand, there are some people who watch for people who are going to withdraw money from an ATM outside. It happened to me early Sunday afternoon. They (a man and a woman) were at the intersection when I walked past them and behind me when I took my money out and stayed in front for several minutes after I passed. Of course I have since opposed.

The guy at the counter just doesn't want to work. he tells you that he is not authorized to do operations and takes you out to go to the next station. You have to change jobs in this case you work at the post office not in a family business that you manage as you want. It's just mind blowing. Never faced this in another post office
