Great place to stay even though it’s a bit far from Paris. The distance to Paris is fairly compensated by a calm and peaceful place to stay if you want to camping. The owner is lovely friendly and supportive though they don’t speak English. Very reasonable prices considering near Paris. I would really recommend this place if you want a nice place to stay while you visit Paris.

At first site you think.. oh what is this? But the campsite is located great, just along the Seine. Most of the places are occupied by people working in the Paris region. The campsite is therefore quite calm. Sanitary is very clean, modern and neat! Owners are very friendly and helpful. When you're going with only a small tent the place near spot no. 5 is recommendable.. It's a smal place, but the tent is mostly in the shade of the trees and space enough around it. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Don't expect any fancy playgrounds or children's animation. Mainly resident campers, some even living on the campsite and leave for work early in the morning. Check availability first by giving them a call. Good way of further enhancing your skills in French. May look a bit eerie, but great bargain hide-out for discovering the Paris area. Don't miss Vaux-le-Vicomte, 25 minutes by car. Lovely helpful landlady and the cleanest brand new toilets I ever saw on any campsite. For the brave and adventurous: they'll award maybe 4 stars even. Easier if you're travelling with a camper or a small pop-up tent.

Heartwarming family. Very welcoming, and impeccable sanitary facilities! (As well as a fair price also close to Paris!)
