Great food, great service Edit: 27-08-2020 This place is amazing for an entire family or even just yourself and another, food is priced well enough to enjoy everything without worrying about spending too much. I've gone so many times and each time I never get disappointed with the amount of food I am able to actually throw back and enjoy every piece of it.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and staff. We really enjoyed our visit, the food was fresh and delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful, service was great, quickly served at the table by very welcoming staff.

At least they were open this time... Got there about 4:05pm. Were still waiting at 4:50pm. When we mentioned how long we'd been waiting we were told we were next.. funny that! Still had to wait before we were called. Had to watch at least two groups, who came after us, get served first. The staff were very polite. The meat, carrots and peas were lovely but I had to saw through the roasts. Last time we came they were shut for two hours for training. Won't be returning soon. Addendum.. Had a reply from the establishment which was much appreciated. I won't call you back as asked but will just say please take note of the points raised and keep track of your customers. Thanks.

What an amazing experience. Jan met and served us at the table and was utterly delightful. Jan was extremely pleasent and helpful. We felt at ease and felt completely safe and catered for. The food was amazing which was the icing on the cake. Thanks Jan! You made our meal, (BTW I still want the Stags!)

Went in for festive menu three courses for £12 waited 45 min for first course , when it arrived the soup was cold, carvery not much better, cold yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese had a funny taste, the gravy was very thick not nice at all. I had choc fudge cake which had been heated up so much it was stuck solid to the dish and it tasted burnt a total waste of money, wont be going back any time soon.
