We stayed at the South Lakeland leisure Village in September 2020. The weekend was gorgeous weather in the low 20s and a glorious light breeze. The leisure Village is quieter than some of its neighbouring holiday parks which is ideal for a quiet family weekend away from the noisy big city areas. On the site you have a gym, spa, pool, lake, ample walking and a really nice family run pub facing onto the lake. This place is a great base if you want to head off to Morecambe or the Lake District for the day which is exactly what we did. We can't wait to visit again.
A nice, picturesque setting. The lodges are great, but the best bit is the bar and restaurant. The quality & presentation of the food is fantastic. Dog friendly too!
Great location to stay if you want to visit the lakes and Morecambe. Lovely cabins and the on-site pub is good, as is the food. Didn't try the gym but looked functional. Pretty good overall. Would return.
Well organized and a beautiful place to spend a weekend. In park activities are satisfactory. Good food.. excellent place to visit with family
Lovely lodge right on the water all you need to have a great weeks holiday.
Only one thing needed is new frying pans as the ones in the Kitchen are grubby and battered. Would stay again
