Even if they haven't met you, the staff don't like you. Go to the one on Gloucester road. They aren't efficient because they enjoy chatting to eachother and looking at their phones more than doing their jobs, so they get massive long queues and then keep everyone waiting out of the door and round the corner in the cold for up to an hour before telling everyone to go home because they're closing. Don't you dare ask them a question or not already understand all the ins and outs of post law - you will get daggers. And no, there aren't exceptions for confused, sweet old ladies who need some help. This is honestly the worst shop I've been to in the UK. The pharmacy is okay and rewards the place 2 bonus stars to add on to the post office's score of -1.

I have used this post office for years and have always found the staff efficient and helpful. When its busy there is no time to chat. The rest of the queue wouldn't appreciate it! I am really grateful for this service. Thanks!

Staff are not friendly (one lady in particular) and have been plain rude at times (I come here often), muttering behind their breath... poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend.

The staff are doing so well in a difficult situation, and while the queue is almost always long due to covid christmas at the moment, it moves at a reasonable rate. I go in a lot as I run a small business- they are friendly people. These poor comments must be from people who have never worked in customer service before.
