Loch Ken is beautiful but they have an absolute cheek charging you to launch your own kayak. They do not own the loch! And Scotland has an access code.....Also felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny they could out your pocket when I was there last year. They even wanted to charge me for my two kayaks......which I refused as I could only paddle one at a time! Paid for a late check out and they even added on a charge for the kids...... seriously?? Nice site but could do with building good customer relations.

Great location on the banks of the lake. Staff helpful and friendly. Large site but pitches are a good size. 1 week min but that may not always be the case.

We had the place to ourselves. We couldn't fault it. Beautiful setting for the motorhome. The kids loved the space to play on their bikes. I loved having gorgeous Loch Ken on my doorstep for morning swims. Thank you Mungo. We will be back. The Murfs x

Love this place. Great pleasure fishing and some big fish to be had. Well kept site with shop, showers and toilets. Lovely people to deal with. Plenty of room for kids to run or swim

Really lovely campsite/caravan park. Clean and friendly. Went just after lock down so only self contained units allowed. Toilets blocks and washing area's were closed but this was all explained to us beforehand and it wasn't an issue. Social distancing was easy due to how quiet it was. 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog (couple of quid extra a night for the kids and dog) Play area's for the kids and loch for water sports and swimming. Pay a bit extra for launching I think it was a fiver for the 3 nights we stayed. Only slight gripe was how far away the bins were from the pitching field. I'm not sure if this was due to covid restrictions or not but they were through the campsite and over the road in the field opposite. Apart from that we had a lovely time and would definitely return in the future.
