What a great place to stay and have as a base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. A comfortable well thought out place with quality furnishings making it a real home from home. On a working farm so they're are some farm smells during the week but that wouldn't deter us from staying again. Friendly host and very spacious accommodation.
Absolutely amazing place.
We stayed here for three nights and didn't want to leave.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful, modern, cosy, with all you could need for a comfortable stay plus underfloor heating! 😍
It is pet friendly, located on a working farm but very quiet (yet close to Castle Douglas and Loch Ken).
Our communication with the owner was flawless from the initial contact, the cottage immaculate and our holiday amazing - we would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage and the area as there's so much to do!

Beautiful cottage, owner so lovely and helpful, she even let us ride her had bike round. We stayed during a very wet week but found kids loved ice cream farm with its indoor play area and the chocolate factory was a real hit, definitely worth paying to make your own chocolates (our 2 and 4 year olds loved it).
Lovely accommodation and beautiful area. Would 100% come back.
