Appalled by the conduct and disregard for safety from this place. We had a booking for Sun the 13th of Sep. We had already been driving for quite a while when a landslide hit the A83 completely blocking our route to this accommodation. We were met by the Road Transport Authority who advised this road would be closed for at least a week. After explaining where we were heading we were advised not to travel due to the torrential rain that had falling flooding many other roads further north and making travel extremely dangerous. We phoned the accommodation as soon as we could which was at 11am. I explained the situation to the lady on the phone who could not have been less helpful if she tried. After explaining the A83 was closed her response was 'if your travelling from Glasgow you can take the A83'. Yes, the same road I have twice repeated was closed. After repeating myself for a 3rd time that the A83 is closed her response was 'why don't you go via Edinburgh', this would have taken several hours longer. She continually ignored the safety aspect of this in which I explained several times that we have been advised not to travel if we can help it by the Road Transport Authority. Torrential had fallin for 2 days solid, a landside occured, a car had flipped over on the A815 which meant further road closure, several roads were flooded. It would have been madness to travel after all of that. This lady I spoke to from Loch Ness Resort was only interested in the money. Completely dismissed any notion of a refund for these extreme circumstances. After 10 minutes of getting nowhere, i had to hang up the phone. I sent a message via Booking.com to explain the situation. To make matters worse the response from the accommodation and I quote was 'we tried to help the customer but he refused'. That was all. A complete fabrication of what had actually happened. I stress, the lady on the phone was zero help, completely dismissed any safety concerns, told me to take a road that I already told her was closed and kept repeating 'if you tell me where you are I can look at a map for you'. I have a map on my phone like everyone else in Britain. Most of the world are aware of how a map works. The fact that she could not of cared less about safety and only interested in money has disgusted us. To then lie about the conversation that took place is appalling. Clearly you need the £95 more than we do. You are welcome to it. I value the advice of the Road Transport Authority and safety of myself and my partner more than been forced to risk losing £95. Disgraceful!!!

Lovely campsite within walking distance of town. Staff friendly. Spotless amenities. Only 1 minor point, cant get in until 2pm and have to leave before 10am

Fantastic pods 😍spotlessly clean. In a quiet location with stunning views. Only a couple of minutes walk away from the village centre. Staff at the resort are so friendly and always smiling 😁

Clean well maintained site. Not enough toilets or showers. Quite a bit of a walk to the toilet block/showers if you are in the end caravan/motorhome pitches. 10am check - out is a bit early. However would stay again.
