First class accommodation,, beautiful view across the countryside to the sea. Great place for a quiet getaway with St Andrews less than ten minutes away. This is the sort of B+B you would most definitely return to without hesitation.

Just checked out this morning and wish I could go back! The rates are great, the rooms are very cozy and it comes with a 5-star view! The host is very nice and makes a great breakfast! If I come back to Scotland, I will definitely stay here again!

A little hard to find but beautiful country setting. Hostess was very gracious. Lots of personal attention. Fabulous breakfast of traditional Scottish fare.

5-star all the way. One of the nicer B&B that we had stayed at while on our 18 day self-drive in Scotland. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, and a breakfast to die-for. Located on a very quiet part of the countryside, with an excellent restaurant located nearby.

Based on all the other five-star reviews written about Knockhill and its wonderful hostess, Linda Wood, I stayed there for several nights during my recent UK tour. It could not have been more perfect: from the glorious views of both sea and countryside; the comfort of the unit (one of the best beds I've ever slept in!); the delicious, hearty breakfast cooked and served personally by Linda; and the delightful people I met who were also touring the area. My only regret is that I couldn't remain longer. Knockhill is in a beautiful setting. Even though I didn't hire a car, those fond of walking (as I am) can easily hike to St. Andrews. Plus, there's a pub not too far down the lane that serves great home-cooked dinners. The Woods could not have been kinder during my brief stay. I will be back!!
