We came here quite late on in the day for lunch. As a result a lot of things on the menu were not available which was a shame but not a deal breaker. Service was great, staff were really friendly and efficient. Pub was quaint and pretty, it was clean and the atmosphere was lovely. Good parking too. Food however was not great but again I wonder if this is because we came so late. Chips were chewy and overdone and the steak pie was overcooked on the top. However whilst the food wasn't great we would definitely go back for drinks and the atmosphere. As we visited so late it may also be worth going earlier in the day for quality of food.

We went on a sunny day and sat outside. It was ultra busy. Probably for that reason, it took over an hour to be served. Staff were friendly and the food was good. It's a very attractive location right on the river. I would recommend.

I had the veggie lasagna which was ok but not amazing. The staff were wonderful though and the atmosphere was great. We chatted to several other diners as it's just so friendly. I'd go again for drinks or try something different on the menu.

Beautiful setting. Friendly helpful staff. Food was amazing!! Great quality and equally great price. We didn't go inside so can't comment on that but they do have a very large seating area outside with looks over the river Wye. Highly recommend a visit.

Very pleasant to sit by the river wye in the Boat Inn and enjoy the tranquility of it all in the glorious sunshine, we didn't have food but on the next table they did, and it looked and smelled gorgeous, Portion sizes are very generous, a bit pricey on drinks, hence the 4*👍 The place is enjoyed by the young and old and is relaxed and peaceful and ideally situated by the historical, Chepstow iron bridge, which divides Wales and England by a short walking distance across it. Stunning place Chepstow, have never been before but well worth a visit in my humble opinion, if ya not fussed then there are plenty of other places quite near by which might take ya fancy
