ISSUE SORTED. Thank you to Carol for being extemly polite and understanding and showing real customer service.. felt like i was actually listened too.. instead of being talked down to by the other guy.. They guy with glasses was extremely rude! Was told not to use pegs with cones cause of a match.. so i used a peg with no cone.. after 3 hours was told to move cause its part of a match and wasn't a cone on it... i explained why wasnt we told the peg numbers so we knew which ones not to use.. no answer.. asked for a refund as was no more pegs for 2 people as I was teaching my partner how to fish.. to be told not our fault.. phoned Ed (maybe onwner).. expalined to him what happend.. he agreed that the guy should have told us what pegs numbers not to use.. and said to go back in for our refund.. the guy inside refused our refund still arguing that it isnt his problem that he didn't tell us the peg numbers and didn't care that we wasted a fishing licence and money in here not to mention an hour drive to get here! And began to argue about the rules.. changing from what is said online and on all the signs.. day ruined! Never coming again! And neither are any of my friends and family that came here every weekend. Sorry used to come now.

First visit to the Fishing Pools Today with my Stepson after wanting to comel for quite some time. We had a Brilliant day from Start to Finish, Plenty of Great Fishing moments. The whole area around the pools is so well maintained with all the Pegs in great condition. The Staff on site are All very friendly and helpful. Snacks/Drinks are also Available on Site We will Definitely be returning more and more. Looking forward to Combining the Fishing with Camping next time. Thanks to All at Carney Pools. Very Recommended!!

Well looked after pools with good levels of stock, providing sufficient challenge without being too easy or hard to catch. Friendly owners and staff who work hard to keep the place up to standard always make it a pleasure to fish here. Some decent sized fish to be had if you are patient/good enough!

Good fishing on any of the pools nice size carp in main pool still room for improvement on pegs but overall you can see work has been done..

We camped there it was very quiet and relaxing even though there was a rally taking place in the big field. Son and grandson went fishing and caught a few quite large fish, so they were happy. Owners and staff very friendly. We will certainly be returning for another stay in the near future. Covid-19 allowing
