Had a lovely time, very remote site! Long walk to get there from the car park at the Abbey so, be prepared but, well worth it!!! Not a sound at night apart from the wildlife and no light pollution at all. We sat by the fire at night watching shooting stars and putting the world to rights! Fantastic!

Took my eight year old daughter. We had a great time. We were driven to the barn, and then had to take our stuff in wheelbarrows to the site (15 minutes along a track and through a cattle field, so quite hard work). Take your own water, firewood, and loo roll!

Absolutely fantastic time wild camping at wicken fen. Such a peaceful and beautiful location. We went with 4 other families and enjoyed a really special evening under the stars.

Shelters are excellent - very warm and have headroom. Only improvement would be having water onsite!
