Manager was very polite and attentive. I got a small plate carvery for £5.79 which was ample although the meat was quite thin, but for the price excellent value with all the trimmings. Hygiene very well observed and carried out.
Wonderful atmosphere and fabulous service. Food was phenomenal too. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!
Hands down worst meal I have ever eaten out! Had the Buttermilk Chicken Burger, reads well on the menu but what comes is far from the description.
Clearly frozen breaded chicken fillets, dry and difficult to swallow. Bun again frozen, stated brioche and toasted. Came plain with a single piece of lettuce and no sauce, try eating dry chicken on a plain bun with no sauce.
Could have helped with the coleslaw as advertised on the menu but that was no were to be seen. Other than that it came with two warm oiled soggy onion rings and a scattering of cold chips.
£10 for the pleasure. All other meals also dissapointed, lasagne microwaved, and poor carvery's!
Don't do reviews but my god it was appalling! I would avoid at all costs if it wasn't located were it is, it would have gone under years ago!
The staff is really nice and the place is well decorated, clean and welcoming. The beer garden is wonderful in a sunny day.
It's really a shame the food is mediocre, but you get what you pay for...
Really well organised with a one way system. Easy to order and we didn't have to wait long for our food even though it was quite busy. Food was good and the staff were lovely and friendly.
