Nice little quiet station which is easy to reach via a footpath between the bus station and here. The trains are regular to Liverpool, Hunts Cross and Preston making it easy to connect to a large range of destinations. The station is tidy and there is seating available, although there could be more as on occasions all of the seats have been taken up.
Ticket officers are friendly and informative when questioned. The ticket machine is fully operational.
When problems such as a faulty door arose a couple weeks ago, there were clear sign posts for where to go.
The platforms are clean and the shop is good for a quick bite to eat (although a little expensive).
One improvement I would suggest is to have more than toilet, as there are sometimes queues.
Good station and easy to get to Liverpool City Centre
Nice helpful staff but them toilets never get cleaned they are disgusting the smell is something else 🤢
