Royal Mail’s response to the increase in parcel traffic as a result of Covid and the structural shift towards e-commerce? Reduce depot opening to 2 hours a day! Genius!! Glad I didn’t buy their shares in 2013 at 330p. They trade today at c 170p. This photo tells us why. DPD, Hermes, FedEx or DHL anyone?

Thank you for your excellent service. I was kept fully informed when there was an unexpected 24 hour delay in delivery and received the most polite and helpful service when I called in to collect my parcel. The parcel was still received within the time frame promised by the sender. A big thank you for your kindness and outstanding service during these very busy and unprecedented times.

So postman supposedly “attempted” delivery of a signed for item while I was sat in living room - no knock on door or attempt made just a delivery card saying he attempted delivery left. Check online and not only have the hours changed to be a DISGRACEFUL 2 hours a day 7-9am (I mean who would ever imagine a place opens at 7am and is already shut at 9??!) it’s closed on a Wednesday. I’m now without vital items ordered and paid substantially special delivery for needed for an interview today. Utterly utterly USELESS.

I posted 3 letters with documents first class signed for on 3 differnt date and 2 differnt post office . Non off those letter been delivered. Non of post office staff and sorting office staff could explin why. Phone system costed me my phone credit and no explanation . Back to square one again. I filled a claim form and posted. Let's hope they don't go walkie too.

Don't know why people are complaining about phone not being answered, it no longer goes direct to individual offices so you can't blame them. It's a centralised line now, like so many are these days. Always been great when I've collected parcels. Polite, speedy service, some people just enjoy moaning. 5 stars.
