The NHS Put my dislocated thumb back in place perfectly in line with bone so after a month I am perfectly fine. I got my cast of today and it feels amazing as if i didn’t even dislocate it in the first place! Such kind and caring staff so lucky to have such a amazing hospital in my city.
This Hospital is undergoing a major refurb to the A&E.Department. there is a very nice cafe just as you go into main Entrance. Also there is a shop they sell newspapers. Magazines and cards there is a cafe in the mother & baby unit. I recommend the toastie.cheese & onion my favourite. There is parking for Disabled and general parking which has a charge. There is a car boot on Sundays.
I had a appointment here for the first time and came from St. Helens on the train.
By far one of the best hospitals I have visited.
Yes it's a little dated,but it's so nice and has a community feel about it. I didnt feel like I was at a hospital.
All the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful and explained things thoroughly rather than just being a number and getting you in and out quickly.

Best hospital we’ve been to and we’ve been to a lot. If there’s something wrong they won’t stop to get to the bottom of it!... their maternity unit is amazing too.
